Easy Apple Crisp

  • 4 apples sliced (4-5 cups - the thicker you slice, the longer it bakes. Go for thin)
  • 3/4 C brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 C all-purpose flour leveled
  • 1/2 old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 C butter melted
  • 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves


  1. Heat oven to 375ºF.
  2. spray bottom and sides of a pan or baker that will fit your apples with a bit of space on top. See photo for what I used.
  3. Spread apples in the bottom of your greased baker.
  4. In a bowl, stir remaining ingredients together and drizzle in butter and stir until crumbly; sprinkle over apples.
  5. Bake 25-30 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
  6. Makes 6-8 servings
